Mitsubishi has always been on the forefront of cutting edge technology.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse introduced the world to the idea that a 4 cylinder turbo with AWD could scorch almost any V8 on the street. The Mitsubishi 3000GT pushed that premise lightyears ahead of it's time, boasting a valved exhaust, electronically adjustable suspension, active aero and a twin turbo V6 mated to a AWD system with 4 wheel steering. The Mitsubishi Evolution was perhaps the pinnacle of this philosophy taking everything it had learned, honing it on the race track and dominating WRC with their Evolution V.
So what would be an appropriate homage to a manufacturer of this caliber? After many, many cycles of work in Photoshop and CAD, we settled on a key from solid billet CNC'd to perfection with dimensional design cues, perfect symmetry and a modern take on what a key should be.
